She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Richey and Jocelyn Richey (Cox); her husband Leonard E. Knierim; her sons, James and Dale; and her grandson Ryan Sapp.
She is survived by: her children, Leland (Kim) of Effingham, Wesley (Deborah) of Effingham, Sandra Newman (Thomas) of Altamont and Deanna Sapp (Garry) of Farina; her daughter-in-law Kathy Knierim of Effingham; and her sisters, Ruby Tate (Raymond) of Rockville, MD and Anne DeBrosky of Garden Grove, CA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
