It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy M. Locke of Effingham, Illinois, born in Winfield, Missouri, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Wilson and Iva Pearl Wilson (Day); her spouse Thomas R. Locke; and her siblings, Marvin Day, Jess Wilson and Laura Vaughn.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald L. Locke (Linda) of New Athens, Donald D. Locke (Karen) of Redland, CA and Dwayne L. Locke (Sheri) of Woodbridge, VA; her grandchildren, Michelle Locke, Edward Locke (Tina), Lisa Pounderier (Paul), Katrina Watson (Michael), Robert Locke, Phillip Locke (Holly), Kevin Locke (Amanda) and Brian Tresenriter; and her siblings, Eugene Wilson, Velgene Shanks, Mary Taylor, Carol Hoffmann and Joyce Hoffmann. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
