She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Piper and Irma Piper (Curtis); her spouse Lee Ferguson; her daughter Carol Gowin; her siblings, Alene Bunton, Marie Purcell, Marilyn Piper, Bill Piper and George Piper; and her stepson Curtis Ferguson, Sr. (Jan).
She is survived by: her grandson Ryan Gowin (Theresa) of Sarasota, FL; her great grandchildren, Ashley Creamer (Gowin), Bailey Gowin and Jason Gowin (Theresa) of Charleston, IL; her sisters, Helen Yougfelt of Hobart, IN and Thyra McKown of Lubbock, TX; her stepchildren, Jim Ferguson, Waunita Seidel (Ferguson) and Maryann Ferguson; her grandson Curtis Ferguson, Jr. (Melissa); and also, Alex Gowin (Ali Carlson), Keegan Gowin and Logan Gowin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
