We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2022, at the age of 102, Dorothy Mae Campbell of Effingham, Illinois, born in Mount Zion, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Ellis and Blanche Ellis (Kaufman); her husband Raymond Edward Campbell; her siblings, Edward (Ida), Robert (Martha), Irvin (Fayette), John Ellis (Clare Ellen), Bernice Jacobs (Jim) and Betty Jean Houk (Ben); and her nieces and nephews, Bill Jacobs, Bernard Jacobs, Robert Ellis, Richard Ellis (Pat), David Ellis, Donnie Houk, Gail Peterson, Roberta York, Marge Brown and Brenda Houk.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Ronnie Ellis (Dorothy), Jim Ellis (Edwina), Gary Ellis (Jo), Terry Houk, Frank Houk (Colleen), Sue Houk and Allegra Ellis.
Memorials may be made to Shelby County 4-H or the Shelby County Senior Center.
