We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2023, at the age of 88, Doris N. Hammer of Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hammer and Edna Hammer (Baumann); her sister Lavina; and her brother-in-law Albert Herrmann. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and one great-great-great nephew.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Effingham.
