He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Stewart and Gladys Stewart; and his siblings, Bill Stewart (Donna), Ruby (Jim Wylde) and Betty Quinn (Kenneth).
He is survived by: his children, Susan of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Joe (Cheryl) of Sperry, IA; his grandchild Curtiss Johnson of Cedar Rapids; and his great grandchildren, Zachary Johnson of Cedar Rapids and Lindsay Johnson of Iowa City, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
