He was predeceased by: his parents, Festus Haag and Clara Haag (Woltman); and his brother Charles Haag. He is survived by: his wife Zetta Haag of Effingham; his son David Haag of Effingham; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene DeWeese of Effingham, Elwin Bushue of DeKalb, IL and Bill Laatsch of Altamont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Shumway, IL.
