It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald A. Gillespie of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Gillespie and Alice Gillespie; his wife Ruth Rickelman; his sisters, Madelyn Koester, Barbara White and Janice Harris; and his great grandchildren, Max Falk, Baby Falk and Baby Griffith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeannine Corman and Juna Griffith (Schuyler); his grandchildren, Sabina Winterrowd (Larry), Amanda Albert (Jake), Jeffrey Corman (Ann), Hillary Falk (Trey) and Anna Marie Griffith (Daniel Apke); and his great grandchildren, Katie Winterrowd, Easton Albert, Gavin Albert, Layne Flach, Ivy Corman, Emery June Falk and Olivia Falk.
