It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Everett of Effingham, Illinois, born in Mason, Illinois, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Renes Everett and Louise Everett (Gillespie); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Nelda L. Durbin of Effingham; his children, David (Brenda) of Effingham and Tanya Simon (Kurt) of Rockport, TX; his brother Charlie of Frederickstown, OH; his grandchildren, David Everett (Katie) of Nashville, TN, Shelby Everett (Dylan Einhorn) of Effingham, Braiden and Claire Overbeck of Effingham; and his brothers, Richard, Paul and Loren.
Memorial donations may be given to HSHS St. Anthony's Hospice.
