He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Martens and Sybil Martens (Galloway); his wife Cindy Stevens; and his brother Loyal Martens. He is survived by: his daughter Kim Manuel (Howard); his grandchildren, Abby Grewell (Jarrett), Kassie Stanfield, Brittany Garrett (Shawn) and Beau Manuel (Sydney); his great grandchildren, Kolt Grewell, Brooks Grewell, Sydnee, Brooklyn and Braxton Garrett; his brother Terry Martens (Wanda); and his pet Bailey.

Memorials may be made in care of Kim Manuel for the Darrel Martens Golf Memorial to support the next generation of golfers.
