He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Finley and Anna Finley (Radcliff); his brothers, Lloyd Finley and Dennis Finley; his half-brother Laverne Oglesby; and his sister Verla Crum.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Gelsinger; his children, Richard Finley (Patricia) and Lana Hovis (James); his grandsons, Scott Finley, Matthew Hovis (Elyse) and Justin Hovis (Alexia); his stepgrandchildren, Kelly, Kim and Brett; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Blake and Bo Hovis.
