She was predeceased by: her parents, William Weber and Josepha Weber (Hutmacher); her husband Bernard "Barney" Wessel; her daughter-in-law Sally; and her siblings, Hyacynth Schmaltz, Viola Tolch, William Weber Jr., Alma Wilson, Ruth Skillman and Carmen Jacobs.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Wessel (Sally) of Altamonte Springs, Carol Gadbury (Gary) of Manhattan, John Wessel (Janice) of Teutopolis and Lynn Long (Michael) of Crestwood, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Katherine Wessel of Chicago, Jeffrey Wessel (Ashley) of Kirkwood, Sarah Baxton (Dwight) of Belleville, Anne Wessel of Chicago, Elizabeth Wessel of Teutopolis, Lauren Wessel of Teutopolis, Jackson Long of Crestwood and Devin Long of Crestwood, Kentucky; and her great grandchildren, Louis, Elijah Baxton and Mason Wessel.
Memorial donations can be made in her name to a charity of the donor's choice.
