He was predeceased by: his parents, George Goeckner and Rosa Goeckner (Beckman); his son Roy Goeckner; his siblings, Ambrose, Adolph (Mary Lou), Ralph, Florence Schumacher (Leonard), Laura Apke (Hubert) and Alvena; and his siblings-in-law, Bernie Burford and Hilma Goeckner.
He is survived by: his former wife Judith Kinkelaar; his children, Carolyn Clark (Don) of Beecher City, Tony Goeckner (Rita Mette) of Teutopolis, Polly Locey (Richard) of Newton, Lee Goeckner (Amy) of Dieterich and Jed Goeckner (Lori) of St. Peter; his wife Judy Goeckner of Effingham; his grandchildren, Katie Dilger, Kari McElroy (Thad), Kyle Clark (Kendra), Teneale Clark, Taylor Feldkamp (Kyle), Lance Clark, Brittany Goeckner, Wyatt Goeckner, Ryan Locey (Jodi), Ashley Rush (Chris), Lacey Sowers (Chris), Danielle Locey, Lauren Lustig (Matt), Brett Goeckner (Megan), Dunavun Goeckner, Elizabeth Abbott, Katie Schmollinger (Ryan), Kellie Linder (Jacob) and Kacie Crain; his great grandchildren, Zach Apke, Olivia Fulk, Colton McElroy, Paxton Clark, Holden Clark, Everly Clark, Roy Feldkamp, Brooke Locey, Blake Locey, Maddie Goss, Chloe Sowers, Harper Sowers, Gunnar Lustig, London Lustig, Bronx Goeckner, Nora Schmollinger, Ella Schmollinger and Lorelei Linder; his siblings, Virgil Goeckner and Marcie Burford; and his sister-in-law Joan Goeckner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
