It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clem J. Vogt Jr. of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemence Sr. Vogt and Josephine Vogt (Feldhake); his former spouse Shirley Kaufman; his wife Doris Haslett; his son Ronald; his grandson Philip; and his siblings, Paul Vogt, Clarence Vogt, Sr. (Mary Ann Vogt), Stella Westendorf and Ann Ruholl (Catherine Westendorf).
He is survived by: his children, Tom Vogt (Crystal) of Mason, Susan Marvin (Lynn) of Newton, Joyce Mathews (Phil) of Effingham, Christie Sexton (Chad) of Clinton, IN and Amy Vogt of Effingham; and his brother Bernard Vogt of Effingham. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
