He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Poe and Lulu Poe (Glover); his wife Betty J. Meyer; his daughter Deanne Huey; his grandson Brandon Poe; his granddaughter-in-law Penny Johnson; and his siblings, Anna Mae, Vera, Esta, Elvin and Ira.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Myers (Mike) of Conway, AR, Donald Poe (Judy) of Naples, FL, David Poe (Carolyn) of Effingham, Douglas Poe (Peggy) of Effingham and Daylene Johnson (Randy) of Effingham; and his brothers, Bud Poe and Ron Poe (Thelma). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Cecil's great-grandson, Preston Martinez.
