She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred U. Meyer and Margaret A. Meyer (Hemmen); her son Harold F. "Hal" Kroeger; her brother Alfred "Sonny" Meyer; and her brothers-in-law, George Leuken and Melvin Heuerman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Schuessler (Don) of Coburg, OR, Dr. John T. Kroeger (Cheryl) of Effingham and Mary Macnider (Jon) of Hoffman Estates; her grandchildren, Amber Schmitz (Kiel), Ian Macnider (Mary), Andrew Macnider (Jenny), Nathaniel Macnider, Jessica Leu (David) and Caitlin Potere (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Hazel, Cole and Everett Schmitz; her siblings, Pauline Lueken and Shirley Heuerman; and her sister-in-law Connie Meyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Sacred Heart Church or the Effingham County Courthouse Museum.
