It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Allen of Effingham, Illinois, born in Jackson, Kentucky, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Chloe Ritchie; her husband Hershel Allen; and her siblings, Ollie Grigsby, Ed Howard, JB Howard, Charlie Grigsby and Ellis Howard.
She is survived by: her sons, Bob Allen (Donna Fancher) and Darryl Allen; her granddaughter Rachael Bullard (Daniel); and her great grandchildren, Braylee and Hunter.
