It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Jean Kessler of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett F. Kessler and Lydia L. Kessler (Wittenberg); her brothers-in-law, Billy Durbin, Melvin Jones and Ronald "Ron" Schultz; and her nephew Allen Everett Bales.
She is survived by: her sisters, Joyce Little (Ray) of Shelbyville, Donna Bales, Kay Schultz of Stewardson and Kathy Wyckoff (Steve) of Mode; and her nieces and nephews, Brian Schultz (Nola) of Stewardson, Ryan Wyckoff (Sarah) of Effingham, Susan Roley (James) of Oklahoma, Janet Schultz (Jeff) of Stewardson, Joann Sheehan (Dan) of Neoga, Tricia Patterson (John) of Springfield, Katie Durbin (Jason) of Strasburg, Christy Goble (Andrew) of Stewardson and Jill Sprau (Jared) of Savoy.
