Beckert of Effingham, Illinois, born in Greenville, Illinois, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Beckert and Ida Beckert (Price); his wife Helen Beckert; his siblings, Harold Beckert and Edna Hill; and his great grandchild David Welton.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Beckert (Kris) of Fort Wayne, IN, Chris Boldt (Brad) of Walkertown, NC, Kathy Klitzing (Randy) of Altamont, Mark Beckert of Effingham and John Beckert of Effingham. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
