It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Gail Pocrnich of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stirrett and Brenda McMechan (Burk); her husband Marty Pocrnich; her in-laws, Mark and Irene Pocrnich; her brother-in-law Timmy Pocrnich; and her nephews, Saxon Smith and Howard Lee Hutson.
She is survived by: her daughter Stefanie Pocrnich; her siblings, Patty Logue, Chuck Stirrett and Darrin Stirrett; her siblings-in-law, Kevin Pocrnich, Travis Pocrnich, Christel Hutson, Lee Ann Smith and Cyndi Malick; and also Roger Shick Jr..
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family.
