She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hewkin and Alena Hewkin (Goen); and her brothers, Wallace, Donald and David Hewkin.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Whitaker; her daughters, Tamara Sue "Tammy" Traub (Justin) of Mason and Melissa Kae Ruffner of Effingham; and her grandsons, Stetsen Lane Traub, Clayten Bryse Traub and Kyle Mason Ruffner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or The Michael J. Fox Foundation and may be received at Johnson Funeral Home.
