Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Beverly Mae Schwager of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 96, on January 5, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morton Trent and Frances Trent (Walter); her husband Wayne F. Schwager of Mary's Catholic Church; her sister Louise Wroten (Gene); her sons, Lawrence Schwager and William Schwager; her son-in-law Steven Eisenbarth; and her grandson Alex Alsbury.
She is survived by: her brother John Trent (Shirley) of Tucson, Arizona; her daughters, Mary Eisenbarth of Vandalia, Nancy Aiken (James) of Hobe Sound, FL and Ann Marsh of Effingham; her daughter-in-law Deborah Schwager of Isle; her grandchildren, John Eisenbarth of Puteri Harbor, Malaysia, Jaclyn Daniels (Mitch) of Vandalia, Jennifer Shelly (Roy) of Effingham, James Aiken of Hobe Sound, FL, Allison Apke (Drew) of Effingham, Lauren Aiken of Tampa, FL and Hailey Marsh of Denver, CO.; and her great grandchildren, Davis, Parker, Callan, Oakley, Nora of Antonio and Michael.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation made in Beverly's name to the charity of your choice.
