We bid farewell to Betty O'Daniel of Effingham, Illinois, born in Jamestown, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 25, 2024 at the age of 86. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Linder and Flawny Linder Stover (Peavyhouse); her husband Edward Hillary O'Daniel, Jr.; her siblings, Mildred Copley and Jim Linder; and her half-brother Lee Linder.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathi Jo Ackerman-Balsmann (Patrick) of Effingham, IL; her grandchildren, Morgan Lee Lindquist (Tyler) of Dallas, TX and Talyor Ackerman Weiser (Christy) of Chicago, IL; her children, Roger Lee Ackerman (Carla) of Wadesville, Betsy and Emily; her niece Edwards; and also, Jolene Lindquist, Betty Wallace and Barbara Mann.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Betty's memory to Jefferson Attendance Center and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, or can be mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
