Betty J. Poe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Poe (Effingham, Illinois), who passed away on January 13, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Meyers and Bernice Meyers (Guthrie); her daughter Deanne Huey; her siblings, Donald, William and Mary Meyers; her grandson Brandon Poe; and her granddaughter-in-law Penny Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil Poe of Effingham; her children, Debbie Myers (Mike) of Conway, AR, Don Poe (Judy) of Naples, FL, David Poe (Carolyn) of Effingham, Doug Poe (Peggy) of Effingham and Daylene Johnson (Randy) of Effingham; her sisters, Sandy Webb (Jerry) of Effingham and Lynn Meyers of Naples, FL; and also Preston Martinez. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in honor of Betty's great-grandson, Preston Martinez.
