She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. "Jim" Schlanser and Beulah F. Schlanser (Snack); her husband Scott A. McMahan; her brothers-in-law, Robert M. and David McMahan; her nephew Jonathan Wernsing; her niece Danyel Wernsing; and her great-nephew Hunter Barns.
She is survived by: her daughter April (Tom West) of Effingham; her sister Jeane Wernsing (Gerald) of Effingham; her niece Michelle Barns (Michael) of Altamont; her siblings-in-law, Steven (Debbie) of Louisville, KY, Patrick of Mascoutah, Tim of Louisville, KY, Todd of Effingham and Karen Randall (Tony) of Clarksville, TN; and her pet Bunny. She is also survived by her family and so many great friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Hope for Horses or the Effingham County Humane Society.
