He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony "Tony" Kaufman and Sophia Kaufman (Schwerdt) of Green Creek, Illinois.. He is survived by: his wife Edith Langhorst; his daughters, Linda Walk (Ken), Joyce Kaufman, Barbara Moore (John), Sharon Kaufman and Carol Smith; his grandchildren, Laura Reichart (Brett), Zachary, Mackenzie, Joah, Marina Moore and Madelyn Smith; his great grandchild Milo Reichart; and his siblings, Sister Marie Therese Kaufman, Norma Hoene, Agnes Walk, Adolph Kaufman, James Kaufman and Clifford Kaufman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the DAV Chapter 7 or Honor Flight.
