We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2024, at the age of 94, Adrian Pontious of Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pontious and ReEllen Pontious (Macklin); his siblings, Robert Pontious, Kenneth Pontious, Ralph Pontious, Donald Pontious, Gerald Pontious, Jessie Roach, Alta Loy and Evelyn Verkruysse; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Koss, Bud Roach, Glen Loy Kenneth Verkruysse, Maxine Pontious, Ruby Pontious, Lucille Pontious and Emmaline Pontious.
He is survived by: his siblings, Norman "Larry" Pontious (Gayle) of Edgewood and Wilma Koss of Taylorville; and his sister-in-law Mary Pontious of Dieterich. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the TBD Pagel Funeral Home -Edgewood (701 Broad St, Edgewood, IL 62426).
Memorials may go to Little Prairie Cemetery or the donor's choice.
