He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Stahlhut and Lydia Stahlhut (Neuhaus); his spouse Karma Stahlhut (Becker); and his brother Merle Stahlhut. He is survived by: his daughters, Liddy Lafikes (Christopher) of Edwardsville, IL and Lynn Thomas (Brennon) of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Noah Lafikes, Isaac Lafikes, Micah Thomas and Nolan Thomas; and his brother Jerry Stahlhut of Worden, IL..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (600 Water St, Edwardsville, IL 62025). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the District 7 Alumni Association for the benefit of the EHS Athletic Department.
