She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Patrick Cusack and Vera Cusack (Leary); her daughter Kathleen Nelson; and her brothers, Patrick Cusack, Gerald Cusack, Dr. Michael Cusack, Robert Cusack (Lula) and Dr. William Cusack (Kim).
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joseph Helms; her children, Maureen Schuette (Greg) of Christine Nelson, OFS, Laurie Bonk (Alan), Patrick Nelson, Jr. (Melissa), Daniel Nelson (Karie) and James Nelson (Kathryn); her siblings, Dolores Murphy (Cusack), Dr. James Cusack (Maureen), Dr. Thomas Cusack (Sara), Jack Cusack (Kathleen) and Daniel Cusack (Jan); and her grandchildren, Michael Bobrowski Jr., Thomas Schuette, Marissa Schuette, Nicholas Schuette, Alan Bonk Jr., Kelly Bonk, Lindsey Bonk, Patrick Nelson, Lucas Nelson, Alannah Nelson, Kaiden Nelson, Daniel Nelson and Kaitlyn Nelson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
Memorials may be made to A Beacon of Light (ABL) Pregnancy Center, St. Boniface Catholic Church, or masses.
