Maureen E. Schnefke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maureen E. Schnefke of Edwardsville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maureen E. Schnefke to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil E. LeGate and June E. LeGate (Davis); and her father-in-law Charles Schnefke. She is survived by: her husband Daniel L. Schnefke; her daughters, Kimberly Rodriguez of Edwardsville and Kassie Schnefke (K. C. Skedzielewski) of Glen Carbon; her grandsons, Paul Rodriguez (Audrianna Rodriguez), Charles Rodriguez and Evan Schnefke; her siblings, Carolyn Brown (Dean Brown) of Hamel, Keith LeGate (Sheila LeGate) of Glen Carbon, David LeGate (Brenda Bruening) and Ken LeGate (Sheila LeGate) of Edwardsville; and her mother-in-law Cleo Schnefke of Granite City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel of Glen Carbon (591 Glen Crossing Rd, Glen Carbon, IL 62034). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
