Lorene M. Rehkemper Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorene M. Rehkemper of Edwardsville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorene M. Rehkemper to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Buehne and Mary Gertrude Buehne; her husband Eugene A. Rehkemper; her siblings, Lucille Thole (Louis), Norbert Buehne (Regina), Esther Thole (Ed), Imogene Luber (Leon), Eugene "Butch" Buehne (Geraldine "Gerry") and Carol Moss; her parents-in-law, Frank and Rosa Rehkemper; and her siblings-in-law, Jerome Rehkemper (Lorene), Paul Rehkemper (Jeanette), Rita Rehkemper, Cornelius Rehkemper and Dolores Rehkemper.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Rehkemper (Mary) of St. Rose and Mary Kay Rehkemper of Edwardsville; her grandchildren, Emily Rehkemper (Tony O'Rourke), Lydia Benhoff (Blake), Garrett Gieseking and Justin Gieseking (Allison Hemingway); her great grandchildren, Harper and Sophia O'Rourke; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Buehne of Aviston, Ron Moss (Mary Jo) of Highland, Joanne Rehkemper St. Rose, Francis Rehkemper (Rose) of Breese and Tom Rehkemper (Pat Dorries) of St. Louis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, St. Rose Parish, or Family Hospice and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
