He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Payton and Viva Payton (Lewis); his siblings, Jackie Payton and Melba Smith; his wife Linda Payton of Edwardsville, IL; his children, John Payton (Kendra) of Edwardsville, IL and Jason Payton (Keya) of Granbury, TX; his sister Brenda Hite (Gary) of Fayetteville, AR; and his grandchildren, Logan Payton and Samuel Payton. He was also cherished by extended family and many friends.
