It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaylon Dwight McHugh of Edwardsville, Illinois, born in Kennett, Missouri, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olis McHugh and Layonda McHugh; his wife Barbara McHugh; his brother Larry McHugh; and his brother-in-law Robert Lovatto.
He is survived by: his son David McHugh (Sherrie Heaton); his grandchildren, Jon McHugh (Jennifer), Emily McHugh, Claire Heaton, Brianna Schmerbauch and Jessica Gehner; his sisters, Camilla and Donna McHugh; his nephews, Bobby Lovatto, Michael, William and Marty Nix; his niece Nicole Haner; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Nix (Donna), Pat McHugh and Beverly Lovatto.
