With solemn reverence, we commemorate Dorothy M. Martin of Edwardsville, Illinois, born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, whose life came to an end on September 29, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Skief and Rosa Skief (Scott); her husband Harold "Hal" Martin; her siblings, Alberta Smith, Lois Seals, Dorcas Smith, William Skief (Jim), Robert Skief (Bill) and Samuel Skief, Jr.; and her son-in-law Duane Goodner.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberli Yount Goodner and Deirdre Johnson Highley (Jeff) of Edwardsville; her stepson Mark Martin (Paula) of Worden; her grandchildren, Brandeana Bertels Breden (Jeremy), Brooklyn Bertels (Jon), Travis Bertels (Shannon), Trevor Taynor (Brianna), Jessica Highley Deaver (David), Logan Highley (Rachel), Briley Martin and Piper Martin; her great grandchildren, Gabriel Deaver, Aurora Deaver, Jacob Deaver, Drew Breden, Davis Bertels, Jack Breden, Finley Bertels and Kate Breden; and her sister Alma Kohler of Edwardsville.

So in lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to The Glen/Ed Pantry in Edwardsville.
