He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Vance and Pearl Marie Ambrose, Sr. (Whittaker); his wife Sally T. Briggs of Edwards; his children, Robin Ambrose (Tom Alexander) of Sherman, IL and Michael Ambrose (Stephanie) of Springfield, IL; his stepson Kelly Willard (Amy) of Germantown Hills, IL; his grandchildren, Caitlin McCain, Dylan McCain (Morgan), Eddie Ambrose, Erin Ambrose and Stella Ambrose; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Willard, Emily Willard and Jamie Willard; his sister Cissy Gregson (Steven) of Owensboro, KY.; and the mother of his children Carol Hayden Ambrose.
