She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl R. Schmitt and Reaka S. Schmitt (Peters); her husband John T. Murphy (Jack); and her brother Robert C. Schmitt. She is survived by: her children, Debra Painter (Terry) of Galesburg, Rhonda Searle (Scott) of Brimfield, Laurie Fehl (Tim) of Edwards and John Murphy Jr. (Diana) of Morton; her brother Larry Schmitt (Jane); and her sister-in-law Carol Schmitt. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
