She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walter Hargis and Clara Marie Hargis (Toberman). She is survived by: her husband Lee S. Baker; her sons, Joe L. Baker of Edinburg and Brian E (Jun) of Rochester; her granddaughters, Amanda "Mandy" Getz (late Kris) of Edinburg, Paige Meier (Zach) of Springfield, Ellyn Baker of Springfield and Abigail Kuri (Maricio) of Forest Park, IL.; her stepgranddaughter Shen Wang of Rochester; her great grandchildren, Karson, Keagan Getz of Edinburg and Remy Jackson of Springfield; her sister Marian Hargis Melzer of Springfield; and her niece Janice Payton (Will) of Springfield.

Due to COVID-19 private family services will be held with burial at Edinburg Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Edinburg United Methodist Church, Edinburg Food Bank, or Edinburg EMS.
