It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hewsey Copelin of Edinburg, Illinois, born in Xenia, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Copelin and Oakley Copelin (McCormick); and his wife Wilma Hobbs. He is survived by: his sons, Mike (Addie), Jeff (Martie) and Hoy Copelin (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jason, Joshua (Amanda), Zac (Tiffany) and Patrick (Destiny); and his siblings, Wreatha Huff, Patty Jo Cincebox and Bill Copelin (Inez). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
