It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Louise Thomas of Edinburg, Illinois, who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence C. Requarth and Rhea Requarth (Grant); her husband Raymond F. Thomas; and her siblings, Lawrence, Eldon, David, Evelyn, Marian, Doris and Carolyn.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley Thomas (Chris), Jeffrey Thomas (Kathy), Susan Suggs (Tony) and Chris Metsker (Dennis); her grandchildren, Chelsea McKinnie (Jordan), Clint Thomas, Gina Thomas (Jacob), Jennifer Thomas (Adam), Shanice Neal, Jessica Runge (Dylan), Christina Suggs, Nicole Lael, Allen Suggs, Benjamin Metsker (Katilyne), Cody Metsker (Samantha) and Ty Metsker (Jessa); her great grandchildren, James, Joel Ben, Johnathan, Aiden, Yasmin, Mekhi, Whayne, Matthew, Hannah, Krislynn and Ila Jo; her siblings, Charles Requarth (Donna) and Margaret Moody (Greg); and her siblings-in-law, Larry Thomas and Margaret Requarth. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
