She is survived by: her parents, John Thornton and Etta Belle Buchter; her spouse Thaxton "Red" Godbey; her children, Gregory Godbey of Edinburg, IL and Susan Higgason (Douglas) of Edinburg, IL; her grandchildren, Breezi Davis (Brad) of Cantrall, IL and Lacee Higgason; her great grandchildren, Tinsley DeClerck, Pearl Davis, Ezra Davis and Abilene Davis; her grandson Blake Aaron Higgason; and her siblings, LaVerne, Dellas, Velma, Violet, Dessie and Norma Hartwig of Springfield.
