With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorothy M. Bridgwater of Edinburg, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dorothy left this world on March 17, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Betts and Marie Betts (Kerske); her husband Donal Bridgwater; her brother Robert Betts; her son Robert Harrison III; and her great grandchild Elizabeth Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Hays of Belleville, Mike Harrison (Melinda) of Phoenix, AZ, Madonna Gansbauer (Robert) of Mechanicsburg and Wendy Gochanour (Mike) of Mechanicsburg; her sister Donna Collins of Springfield; and her pet Willow. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (205 N Campbell St, Edinburg, IL 62531). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
