She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Beaty and Julia Beaty (Hawkins); her spouse Thomas Prater; her sons, Kent and Van Prater; and her siblings, Rodell, George, Donald Beaty, Linda Lippincott and Betty Jones.
She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Beaty (Diana), Sue Thomas and Anna Lou Alexander; her grandchildren, Ben, Annie Prater and Kaitlin Wilcox; and her great grandchildren, Sage Prater, James, Lawrence and Thomas Wilcox. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
