He was predeceased by: his parents, Mearl Roedl and Vera Roedl (Cox); his brother Ronald Roedl; and his grandparents, Jacob, Caroline Roedl, Ray and Dorthy Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Simmons of Altamont, IL; his daughters, Charity Roedl of Altamont, IL, Lea Ann Loveall (Ray) of Chadwick, MO, Amy Roedl of Altamont, IL, Amanda Grobengieser (Luke) of Mason, IL and Lacy Roedl of Effingham, IL; and his siblings, Kay Lindsey (Ray) of Oakwood, OH, Lynn Roedl (Evelyn) of Edgewood, IL, Joe Roedl (Mary) of Edgewood, IL and Henry Roedl. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given to the Parkinson's Foundation or the donor's choice.
