Norman McManaway Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman McManaway of Edgewood, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin McManaway and Mary Elizabeth McManaway (Habing); and his siblings, Ofis McManaway, Leonard McManaway, Cletus McManaway, Patricia Hudson and Mary Louise Clarkson.

He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Quast; his wife Deb McManaway of Edgewood, Illinois; his children, Chuck McManaway of Chicago, Mike McManaway (Jeanne) of Chicago, Illinois, Susan Kutemeier of Chicago and Donna Griffel of Chicago, Illinois; his stepchildren, Lonnie Cook Jr. (Jana) of Windsor, Illinois and Shelly Verdeyen (Pudd) of Effingham, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Whitney, Stacey, Kyle, Skyler, Ethan, Emalee, Elizabeth, Samantha, Haley, Hunter, Becky and Laine. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may go to Crossroads Cancer Center or Effingham Humane Society or the donor's choice.
