He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Crain and Hilda Crain (Schneider); his wife Sandra Crain; his son Ronnie Crain; and his brother Melvin "Dick" Crain.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Crain (Dawn) of Farina, Illinois and Rachel Murphy (Chad) of Freeburg, Illinois; his daughter-in-law Lynnette Crain of Farina, Illinois; his grandchildren, Dusti Dickerson (Justin), Wade Crain (Kendra), Will Crain, Katie Schmollinger (Ryan), Alex Miller (Ben Frazier), Kellie Linder (Jacob), Kacie Fitzwater (Collin), Patricia Green (Matt), Tucker Murphy and Dakota Murphy; his sister Millie Wesselman (Herman); and his close friend Barbara Boomgarden. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
