She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Strackeljohn and Eldiva Strackeljohn; her sons, Randy Burgess and Rodney Burgess; her siblings, Charles Strackeljohn, Cecil Strackeljohn, Carol Strackeljohn, James Strackeljohn and Peggy Sue Strackeljohn; and her granddaughter Amber Renee Dawn Burgess.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Burgess of Edgewood; her children, Doug Burgess of Edgewood and Debbie Denton (Jim) of Effingham; and her brother Robert Strackeljohn (Glenda) of Farina. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
