She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Mary Elizabeth Yingst (Shup); her husband Donald Long; her siblings, Floyd "Bill" Yingst, John Yingst Jr., Lewis Yingst, Roberta Horath, Rosemary Higgs, Deloris Lilley, Elsie Robinson, Florence Cobel, Mabel Fancher, Ethel Simmons and Carolyn Lawhorn; and her children, Jess and Hazel Yingst.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Yingst (Lydia) of Oreana, Illinois, Connie Tipsword of Effingham, Gladys Austin of Edgewood and Elaine Karnes (Ivan) of St. Elmo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Effingham Humane Society or the donor's choice.
