It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn D. Boone of Edgewood, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on April 5, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Dale Harper and Lois Harper (Byers); her husband Dwayne Boone; her brother Lindell Harper; her parents-in-law, Glen and Clementine Boone; her siblings-in-law, Reta Zumbahlen, Urban Boone, John Maluchnik and Avanell Haarmann; and her niece Joan Fitzwilliam.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kara King (David) of Imperial Beach, CA and Amy Tarr (Brad) of Newton; her grandsons, Eddie King of Pueblo, CO, Devon King of Imperial Beach, CA, Mitchell Tarr of Shumway and Nicholas Tarr (Ava Stanescu) of West Liberty; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Harper of Edgewood, Louise Boone of Edgewood, Jim, Lucille Koester of Teutopolis, Carolyn Maluchnik of Valdosta, GA, Linda, Dave Wheeler of Temecula, CA, Don Haarmann of Joliet, Ruth Ann and John Lloyd of Stillwater, OK. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
