He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elledge and Elsie Elledge (Clinton); his children, Ed Elledge, Steve Elledge and Robin Beitz; his siblings, Harry, Ray, Emmitt, Bernard, Arlie, Herman Elledge, Bea Porter, Eldiva Strackeljohn, Phyllis Allen, Alma Allen, Dorothea Boyld, Marie Elledge, Olive and Irene Elledge; and his granddaughter Brittany Elledge.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Elledge of Edgewood; his sons, Joe Jackson (Rose Ann) of Santino and Jeff Jackson (Tiffiney) of Avon, Indiana; his children-in-law, Roslyn Elledge-Spencer of North Carolina, Karen Elledge of Farina, Anne Elledge of Portland, Oregon and Russell Beitz of Stewardson; and his sister-in-law Esther Walker of Flora. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 13 great great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
