It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Depoister of Edgewood, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Simmons and Florence Simmons (Davis); her husband Robert "Butch" Depoister; and her sister Sandy Colclasure. She is survived by: her son Ryan Depoister (Shalett) of Salem; her siblings, Dave Cochran (Gerri) of Edgewood, Jerry "Beebe" Simmons of Edgewood, Robert "Bubbles" Simmons (Brenda) of Mason, Joyce Liggett (Steve) of Waltonville, Sherry Simmons of Edgewood, Kathy Mosley (Michael) of Edgewood, Pat Harmon (Gary) of Edgewood, Pam Magnus (James) of St. Peter, Lisa Merritt of Edgewood and Shelia White (Butch) of Edgewood; and her brother-in-law Ronnie Colclasure.
